Did you know that in cold climates it's better to plant garlic in the fall than in spring? It gives it a head start and enables it to grow big bulbs by the next fall. I got a few bulbs from a friend here in the village who grows garlic in her garden also, so the ones I planted now should be very well suited for this particular climate and region.
