On the 6th of June Lumia and Dominik host a Foodforest designCamp at Beyond Buckthorns, our homestead in Pirkanmaa, Finland. Together with our participants we will design a food forest area at Beyond Buckthorns.

If you would like to try hands-on sustainable designing, learn more about design in general and work and hang out with others - welcome!

Foodforest DesignCamp 2026

The day starts at 10 am with coffee and getting to know each other, after which we’ll start and get designing! At some point we’ll have lunch (vegetarian, vegan/gluten free and allergy aware available, just let us know when signing up) and then continue with the work. After the course, the barbecue (weather permitting) and the sauna will be hot in the evening.

If you want to stay overnight, you can pitch your tent or stay at our tree tent/Tentsile for 20 € per night (one available, for 1-2 people)

Cost

  • Early birds (available until the 6th of May) and Vihreä Pourusmäki members 30 €
  • Afterwards sliding scale from 40 € to 60 € for the whole workshop.

  • Cancellation is possible until 5 days before the course by the participant - 10 € for processing and banking fees will be kept back. For later cancellations the whole fee is kept back.
