Come and design with us!

On the 5th and 6nd of August Lumia and Nick host a permaculture designCamp (link goes to Nick's diploma design) at Beyond Buckthorns, our homestead in Pirkanmaa, Finland. Together with our participants we will design an area at Beyond Buckthorns.

Besides collectively designing, we also will have a small talkoot in the garden. And of course there will be a lot of time for chatting, discussion and exploring! Welcome, if you would like to try hands-on permaculture designing, learn more about permaculture design in general, work and hang out with others – or just help us with this wonderful permaculture project called Beyond Buckthorns

We have 5 places for tents and one tent up already for 1-2 people. Please bring your own tent & beverages and food to share with everyone for the evening bbq and breakfast. For the bbq we will provide garden veggies like salad and grilled zucchinis . On Saturday, a soup lunch and coffee throughout the day will be served to keep everyone's energy up!

The day starts at 11 am with coffee and getting to know each other, after which we’ll start and get onto business! At some point we’ll have lunch and the talkoot, and then continue with the designing. Design presentation and discussion is on the next day. The barbeque (weather permitting) and the sauna will be hot in the evening
